Which phones work
Precise finding needs Ultra Wideband. Every phone can still meet people.
- 1Venue Spark is on iPhone first, with Android coming next.
- 2Precise arrow and distance: iPhone 11 or later on iOS 17 or later, except iPhone SE and iPhone 16e.
- 3Phones without Ultra Wideband still check in, match and chat. To find each other, use the hint your match left you and Flash both screens (tap Flash or shake your phone).
- 4Both people need the app open on screen while finding each other. Finding pauses if either app goes to the background or the screen locks.
Tip: If your phone knows the distance but not the direction yet, you'll see the distance with a spinning ring. Turn slowly until the arrow appears.
